It’s Official: News Consumption is All About Social and Mobile
Recent research from the Pew Center into news consumption habits demonstrates that the impact of mobile and social continue to increase. Highlights of the report include that the number of people who said they regularly get news on a smartphone or tablet has ballooned from 9 percent to 15 percent, and the number who regularly access news on social networks has gone from 7 to 20 percent.

Forrester: iPhone App Users Young and Wealthy, Android App Users Skew Older
A Forrester Research report on mobile device users in the U.S. was released earlier this week. A key takeaway of the report is that users of apps tend to be both younger and more wealthy than those who solely use the Internet. Another fact shared is that Android app users are more likely to be older and less affluent than those downloading iOS apps.
